A rare and appealing alternative to a Mini Moke, offering exceptional character and usability at a significantly lower entry point. Charming Plein Air-style Renault 4 (R1123) conversion, imported to the UK by the current owner and presented in very good, usable condition. Originally owned by an elderly gentleman in South Africa, where it was cherished for many years before being exported. Extensive 2025 recommissioning work includes skimmed and pressure-tested cylinder head with new water distribution tube, new top ball-joints, steering rack gaiters, suspension bushes, brakes stripped and cleaned, new oil and filter, reconditioned alternator, and a new windscreen.

Tyres in excellent condition, and whilst the paintwork is not concours, it remains highly presentable. Known imperfections include dipped beam currently inoperative and no bonnet stay or jack. Offered at half the cost of a Mini Moke yet equally as distinctive, this Plein Air conversion is finished to an impressively high standard. A rare and engaging classic, equally suited to coastal drives or eye-catching promotional use.
