Its naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-6 engine with lightweight stainless Sport exhaust pumps out an awe-inspiring 518 HP at 8,500 RPM through a PDK 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, rocketing the car to 60 MPH in just 3 seconds and to an electronically limited top speed of 184 MPH. Porsche’s prototype experience shows its influence in the GT3 RS’ every facet, from its extensive use of carbon fiber (roof, hood, fenders, rear wing, mirror and window trim, interior inlays, adaptive Sport seats) to this example’s optional Weissach Package, which adds 20- and 21-inch forged lightweight magnesium wheels, a lightweight lithium ion battery and more carbon fiber pieces. The cockpit showcases Porsche’s expertise in tailoring a driver-focused yet stylish environment, incorporating adaptive Sport seats with headrest embroidery, Racing Yellow harnesses and a GT Sport steering wheel with driver controls for the optional multi-mode Sport Chrono package.
