An attractive second generation Lotus Elise in Ruby Red with just over 31,000 miles.
First registered on 14/03/2002, this beautifully presented, second generation, 1.8-litre S2 is on offer from four years of diligent ownership. The early S2 models were powered by a mid-mounted, 1,795cc, inline-four, generating 120bhp however, weighing only 756kg and with a 5-speed gearbox, the little Lotus could reach 60mph in only 5.6 seconds. Finished in gleaming Ruby Red, it has covered 31,318 miles from new and appears in very good condition. Full service history with 13 services recorded, most recently on 11/09/2024 at 29,903 miles.
Excellent history file with the original folder containing the warranty and technical manuals, all registration documents, the original stamped service book, original key number sticker, previous MOTs and the current MOT valid until September 2025 and issued with 'no advisories' The S2 spawned at least a dozen more powerful developments and limited editions over the years, however, the very early cars with their purity of line and mechanical simplicity remain amongst the most desirable.
