This 2012 Lexus LFA is powered by a V10 engine producing 552hp and 354 ft/lbs of torque. All Lexus LFAs were equipped with a 6-speed Automated Sequential Manual Gearbox (ASG) with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The Lexus LFA was limited to just 500 examples for the world; only 156 were produced for the U.S. market. In its configuration of Steel Gray with an orange interior, this is a one of one, according to the LFA Registry. This example was ordered in Steel Gray Metallic, which was an additional paint color charge of $3,000. The interior orange was selected new from the selling dealer, Sewell Lexus of Dallas, TX.
The additional cost to select orange front seats was $2,500, which did not include the additional $1,000 for the stitching. To accent the interior, the steering grip was also selected in orange for an additional $1,500. This Lexus has spent life in Dallas, TX, with the original owner. Included in the sale is the Lexus luggage with the VIN engraved, a Lexus LFA watch in the original LFA box, a hardbound LFA book with a protective sleeve, a Lexus Laser desktop model with a production number 437 plaque, two master keys and the Lexus tire inflation kit.
With its 552hp V10 engine mated to a 6-speed ASG transmission, 20-inch BBS forged wheels, a speed sensing rear spoiler and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, the LFA could achieve a 0-60 time you would expect from this modern supercar. As most supercars are built without the comforts in mind, Lexus made standard equipment such as Mark Levinson Sound with 12 speakers, 10-way power adjustable seats, a navigation system, XM Radio and Bluetooth integration.
Steel Gray Metallic with orange leather sets this one apart from being one of the more common colors, such as Pearl White, Whitest White, black, red or Starlight Black, which accounted for 109 of the 156 total LFAs made for the U.S., market according to the Lexus LFA Registry. This vehicle has a clean CARFAX report.
