N20 SVX is #20 of only 70 Station Wagon examples of Land Rover's Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Celebration model. The SVX 60th Anniversary Edition, one of 300 examples built worldwide (only 70 of which were station wagons) and only 90 cars in total came to the UK. The SVX shares its mechanical layout with the standard Defender, including the same recently revised (as of 2008) 2.4-litre four-cylinder Ford turbo-diesel engine. It also gains Recaro seats, big wheels and distinctive brightwork, including a silver coloured grille and headlamp surround. Flatter riding than any previous Defender courtesy of some subtle, SVX-only improvements to the damping, making it much more comfortable.
The interior also gets well-considered trim changes, iPod connectivity, a Garmin satnav unit and a decent sound system. LE number #20 has been owned by an ex-Land Rover Development factory employee (now retired) for the last 11 years. Fitted with panoramic glass from Landyglass which improves security, reduces road noise and eliminates window rattle. 91,284 miles, MOT until October 2025 issued with 'no advisories'. Appropriate registration, N20 SVX. During current ownership, #20 has been involved in various Land Rover events and Coventry Motofest 2018. Most notable being part of the 70th Anniversary Defender event at Solihull.
