While the motoring world was still processing the impact made by the Murcielago LP640, Lamborghini unleashed the Aventador LP 700-4 at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The Aventador featured the historic debut of Lamborghini's new V12 engine, the successor to the company's original engine that powered its first production car, the 350GT, during the 1960s. Aventador development progressed swiftly over several uprated variants, including the 'SV' Super Veloce (Superfast) by March 2015 and the ultimate SVJ. The Aventador SVJ saw a power increase for the V12 engine to 770hp at 8,500 rpm and 532 ft/lbs of peak torque at 6,750 rpm.

A comprehensive array of cutting-edge aerodynamic, chassis and drivetrain upgrades, plus specifically developed Pirelli tires, maximize the SVJ's performance envelope. Published results of SVJ performance cite 0-to-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration in 2.8 seconds, a top speed over 350 km/h (217 mph) and braking from 100 km/h to rest in just 30 meters (98.4 feet). One Aventador SVJ set the production-car record at Germany's legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife racing circuit with a lap time of 6:44.97. Offered with 2,868 actual miles, this 2020 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is one of only 900 examples produced with the optional Carbon Package.

Its Rosso Efesto Metallic paint finish is particularly appropriate, given the 'Efesto' name derived from Hephaestus, the Greek god of fire and blacksmith. In addition, this Aventador SVJ is deceptively luxurious with appointments that include an Alcantara interior, as well as premium sound, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and dual-zone climate control. Under the current owner, service was performed at Grand Touring Cars, one of North America's premier Lamborghini dealers.
