This is one of less than 4,000 Jaguar Mark IX Saloons produced in 1959 with a three-year overall production run from 1959-1961. It's equipped with a 3.8-liter Straight-6 and 3-speed automatic transmission. It also has rear-wheel drive, 4-wheel disc brakes and power steering. This particular example was a U.S. import so it comes with the more desirable left-hand drive. This Mark IX had the same owner for many years and was very well-maintained. It comes with all its manuals and paperwork since new. It still has the original factory interior as an example of the care it received. It has a rebuilt transmission, cylinder head, the valves were decarbonized and reseated and the power steering was rebuilt in addition to regular service.
