This custom 1972 GMC Jimmy was the recipient of an extensive 1,000-hour professional restoration with modern upgrades by Ace Restoration and Another Level Auto Painting. Every detail was addressed, including a fresh 6.0-liter Vortec L96 V8 engine mated to a 6L90 6-speed automatic transmission. Precision engine components include Tempe Speed & Performance ECM, Holley Sniper EFI fuel pump and a Cold Case aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The Jimmy features 2.5-inch stainless-steel MagnaFlow exhaust and an American Autowire harness. Braking is handled by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes and a hydro-boost brake system.
The lifted suspension features a 4-inch lift and Rough Country shocks, and the vehicle rolls on 15-inch Rally wheels wrapped in 35x12.50-inch Cooper Evolution M/T tires. The bodywork is finished in Medium Bronze Metallic, complemented by a black-coated removable hardtop with fiberglass repairs and a spray-on bed liner. The exterior also features a new grille, weatherstripping and trim to complete the look. The two-tone luxury interior has upgrades that include front bucket seats and a rear bench finished in two-tone brown, along with black carpeting and Kilmat sound insulation. It also has a Vintage Air system, a custom center console, RetroSound stereo, Kenwood speakers and USB charging.
The enhanced dashboard features body-color dash with a Dakota Digital VHX gauge cluster.
