This beautiful GMC 100 'Blue Chip' pickup truck appears to have been recipient of a rather comprehensive restoration performed at some stage in the past. The GMC is appropriately finished in a lovely two-tone creamy white over a dusty blue colored livery, while the Deluxe cabin is trimmed in a matching blue and white interior. Color-coded wheels are in place, shod on period-appropriate white wall tires. An abundance of chrome and brightwork is present front and aft, as would be expected for any American car - or truck - of the period, and the floor of the pickup bed is trimmed in wood with stainless steel strips.
The truck features the smaller rear window, which is believed to be a rare feature on these trucks. Period 1950s yellow and black California license plates are fitted, further adding to the appropriate looks of the GMC. Out-front under the large hood sits a powerful overhead-valve V8 engine, mated to a
