This 1971 Ford Torino Cobra 429 CJ was restored over a three-year period. It is powered by a 429/375hp Cobra Jet Ram Air Shake 4-barrel V8 engine and is one of 339 CJRs produced with a C6 SelectShift automatic transmission. It is equipped with heavy-duty load suspension, power steering and disc brakes. It is one of 23 produced for the model year finished in its color codes, including a factory combination of a Light Pewter exterior with a Vermillion interior and blackout hood treatment, per the included Marti Report.
The exterior features a factory Ram Air Shaker hood, optional blackout hood treatment, factory backlite louvers, 15-inch Magnum 500 wheels, factory tinted glass, factory Cobra sport slats, dual headlights, factory Flow-Thru ventilation, concealed sport windshield wipers and color-keyed dual racing mirrors, along with a factory Tutone black hood, black grille and lower back panel. The interior features an AM radio, Cobra decor, factory high-back bucket seats and console, electric rear window defroster and factory tachometer. This Torino Cobra was produced in March 1971.
