1966 is the last year for the fourth generation Thunderbird and by 1967; the classic lines of the Thunderbird had been dropped for more modern styling. The Town Landau version of the Thunderbird had a walnut grain textured interior, sequential taillights, overhead safety panels, and distinctive imitation landau irons reminiscent of pre-war convertibles, behind the passenger side windows. This 43,058 original miles Ivy Yellow example offered, was ordered new in Pasadena California with virtually all options including a 345 hp 428 ci V8, adjustable shell contour seats, select air conditioning, passenger reclining front seat, and power windows.

The unusual swing away steering wheel allows easy access for the driver. It has always been a Southern California car, and other than a high quality professional re-spray, the interior, top, and trim remain original to the vehicle.
