The late Greg Biffle became Roush Racing’s first NASCAR champion by clinching the 2002 Busch Series championship for Jack Roush and his team. Biffle then raced this Ford Taurus in the Nextel Cup series for Roush during the 2004 season. Built on Roush Racing Chassis No. RK-195, the car remains in its red, blue and white No. 16 National Guard livery with full contingency and sponsor decals. The car has been donated by the seller, with proceeds to benefit the Biffle Family Legacy Impact Fund.
Powered by a Roush Racing 358 CI Ford V-8 with braided steel lines, this car retains its ButlerBuilt Professional Seat Systems racing seat, Hooker Harness racing harness, AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite gauges and Memory tachometer, and a full roll cage structure. With visible aero-improved styling and custom-fitted spoilers, this machine rides on adjustable suspension, 15-inch black steel race wheels and Goodyear Eagle radial race tires. Greg Biffle left a serious legacy in NASCAR, and this race car well honors his memory.
