Le dessin de Pininfarina de la Fiat 130 devenu classique, ne l'était pas en 1971, il venait tout droit du même coup de crayon que celui qui donna naissance à la Ferrari 365 GT/4 2+2, sortie elle aussi en 1971, qui deviendra 400 puis 412. Fiat réalisa un V6 de 3.2L de cylindrée à bloc fonte et culasses en alliage léger à simple arbre à cames en tête de 165ch à 5500 tr/mn, coiffé d'un carburateur Weber et accouplé à une boîte automatique à 3 rapports et en option à une boîte manuelle ZF à cinq rapports. C'était à l'époque le haut de gamme de Fiat qui démontra alors que cette firme était aussi capable de réaliser des automobiles de luxe et de qualité.
Très sensible à la ligne de la Fiat 130 coupé, Hubert André en fait l'acquisition auprès d'un particulier de Copenhague après moulte recherche d'un modèle en excellent état. C'est donc ici un exemplaire d'une grande qualité, recouvert à l'intérieur du très beau tissu en velours orange en excellent état et de la couleur argent, classique pour ce modèle. L'ensemble de la carrosserie est sain et la peinture de très belle qualité. En septembre 2019, une grosse révision est réalisée et notamment l'allumage ce qui lui offre aujourd'hui un fonctionnement optimal. Cet exemplaire est équipé de la boîte mécanique 5 vitesses dont moins de 1000 exemplaires ont été produits sur 4491 exemplaires en tout.
Cela en fait un collector à la ligne des plus élégantes, dans la même lignée que les Ferrari 400 mais à un budget, pour l'instant encore, très raisonnable. Fiat produced the 3.2-litre V6 engine with a cast iron block, and light alloy cylinder heads with single overhead camshaft, developing 165bhp at 5500rpm. Aspiration was by a Weber carburetor, and the engine was mated to a 3-speed automatic gearbox, with a five-speed ZF manual transmission as an option. It was at the time the flagship of the Fiat range, demonstrating that this firm was also capable of producing luxury and quality automobiles. A fan the Fiat 130 coupé design, Hubert André bought it from a private individual in Copenhagen after much search for a model in excellent condition.
This is therefore a high-quality example, covered inside with very beautiful orange velvet fabric, in excellent condition, and in the silver shade, the combo is a classic for this model. The body is in a healthy state, and the paint is very good quality. In September 2019, a major overhaul was executed, and in particular the ignition, which now offers optimal operation. This example is fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox, of which less than 1000 were produced, out of the total of 4491 units.
