Launched as the successor to the 458 Italia, this Grigio Alloy (Gray Alloy) 2018 Ferrari 488 GTB 70th Anniversary Edition is a collector-grade one-of-one example produced via Ferrari's bespoke Tailor Made exclusivity program. It is propelled by its mid-rear mounted, twin-turbo DOHC 3.9-liter V8 engine producing 661hp, paired with a F1 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Aerodynamics and advanced lightweight materials distanced the 488 GTB further from its forebearers. Performance credentials include 0 to 60 mph acceleration in 3.0 seconds, a 10.45 second quarter-mile and a 205 mph top speed.
The race-derived engineering highlights include double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension, magnetic suspension damping (SCM3), carbon-ceramic brakes (CCMD), slip-angle control (SSC) and a Manettino steering wheel with F1 systems mode control. Priced from an original MSRP of $252,800, before more than $130,000 in options, this singular 488 GTB's many special features cost $66,806, supplemented by the bespoke Tailor Made 70 Anniversary P1-A option, which added another $42,776 to the $386,569 total MSRP when the Ferrari was delivered new to Ferrari of San Antonio. It is also optioned with the $2,169 AFS System, $5,062 suspension lifter, $6,075 front and rear parking cameras, $1,302 front and rear parking sensors and $5,736 Premium HiFi audio system.
