Superb low-mileage, low-ownership 348 Spyder, one of only 68 manual gearbox cars supplied to the UK.
Introduced in 1989 as a replacement for the 328, the 348 production line ran until 1995. Late in 1993, the 348 was revised with subtle styling changes and a power increase from 300 to 320bhp from its 3.4-litre V8. Factory chassis development led to enhanced rigidity and was instrumental in the introduction of the brand new 348 Spider. This beautiful example is finished in the classic choice of Rosso Corsa over Crema leather. The coachwork presents beautifully as does the interior, clean and tidy with no untoward wear and tear. Super low ownership for a 1990s Ferrari with just three keepers recorded in total.
Just under 28,000 miles with some good service history, the majority by main dealers – Maranello, Graypaul and Dick Lovett. The last service was carried out at a Ferrari specialist - Auto Officina in Epsom on 23/02/2024 at 27,647 miles and included a cambelt replacement, spark plugs changed, alternator belt, a/c belt, wiper blades, oil pipe, clutch plate, ignition coils, ignition leads, oil and filter service, fuel filter, air filter, fresh gearbox oil and brake fluid. Four new Michelins on professionally powder-coated wheels. With collectors now looking more to the 1980s and 1990s, the 348 appears to be enjoying renewed popularity.
