This one-of-one 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 was built for ex-president/Chrysler Group chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne. It is powered by a 6.4-liter SRT8 HEMI V8 engine producing 470hp and 470 ft/lbs of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Specific features include a special Pitch Black exterior paint, as well as custom-mixed Dark Charcoal racing stripes that were hand-laid by the designers in the SRT brand design studio and painted by the master painters within Chrysler group's product design studio. The stripes have been buried under the clearcoat to avoid any noticeable paint steps from the stripe color to black.
It is factory-lowered using a Mopar adjustable coilover kit to add more performance attitude and aggressive stance. It is also equipped with a Mopar custom exhaust, taillamps have been smoked, and 392 HEMI fender badges have been created in gloss and Satin Black finishes. The factory forged 20x9-inch wheels have been finished in Matte Black. The interior features custom-trimmed black leather seats embroidered with both SRT and 392 logos. Additional features include Customer Preferred Package, Media Center Package, power glass moonroof and an SRT exclusive electronic vehicle information center with performance pages/multimedia information premium audio system.
This car is signed on the dashboard by Sergio Marchionne, and in the engine bay by design head Ralph Gilles, designer Mark Trostle, and the balance of designers and associate SRT engineers. This vehicle has been displayed in a proper climate-controlled environment within a premier collection for over 11 years. The documents that accompany this sale include the original Window Sticker, original Build Manifest, owner's manuals, two sets of master keys, copy of the Barrett-Jackson Window Sticker when this car was initially auctioned by Sergio Marchionne and a copy of the Bill of Sale from Barrett-Jackson for $175,000 to one of North America's premier automobile collectors. 2,911 actual miles.
