Nicknamed 'Blues Traveler,' this restored three-door 1969 Chevrolet Suburban custom SUV was professionally built by Tre 5 Customs and features a GM LS3 525hp crate engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. It has a Porterbuilt frame that rides on a custom 22- and 24-inch American Racing wheel combo with big aftermarket brakes. The exterior on 'Blues Traveler' is finished in custom Matte Blue paint complemented by a Matte Gray and Lime Green accent graphics done by IKandy Paintworks with custom pinstriping. The exterior features Kindig-it door handles with a customized Kindig-it door handle for the rear trunk door.
The interior features Snowden custom bucket seats, a custom console with cup holders, small package tray and the AccuAir air management control unit created by Elevated Design, interior blue lighting, custom integrated vents for the rear air conditioning system, a premium sound system with fully custom speaker enclosures and a double din touchscreen base unit, along with custom pinstriping to accent the dash and Restomod Air system controls. 'Blues Traveler' also features a complete custom cargo area and air tank storage for the AccuAir air ride system, and a 48x102-inch sliding ragtop, the largest produced for Legacy ragtops. 'Blues Traveler' was featured in the AccuAir booth at SEMA 2018, where it also won the Restomod 'Best Air Conditioning System' award.
It was also featured with a cover story in Street Trucks magazine and has won several Best of Show awards at various truck shows.
