Proving that good guys don't always wear white is this performance custom pickup truck co-developed by Indiana-based Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and Southern Comfort Automotive and MCM Custom Vehicles in Alabama. What drove into this world as a regular-production 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck now thunders down the road and trail as a fully equipped Reaper. The transformation from regular to Reaper is not just skin deep and features modifications from powertrain and suspension to custom graphics and lighting all specifically designed and engineered to deliver maximum all-terrain performance and aggressive style.
Under the custom hood is a 6.2-liter Chevrolet V-8 packing a Magnuson supercharger and Lingenfelter Performance Engineering performance upgrades for a dyno-proven and torture-tested 550 horsepower on tap. Custom-tuned headers and Corsa performance dual-exhaust system extract maximum horsepower and deliver an aggressive sound through dual chrome exhaust tips. The long-travel off-road suspension upgrade sports a 3-inch lift and is equipped with gas-charged reservoir Fox Racing suspension coilovers. Forged alloy 17-inch beadlock off-road wheels with super-duty 33-inch General Grabber extreme-traction all-terrain tires are ready for world-beating traction and grip.
The restyled front clip is fronted by a high-clearance bumper with integrated reinforced skid plate met by rock guards and side steps. All-terrain and all-weather visibility is provided by integrated Rigid Industries flood-light system and daylight LED running lights. The exterior Reaper graphic treatment is punctuated by serialized chrome Reaper badging over the white painted finish. Inside the Reaper High Country interior are custom logo-embroidered headrests, door-panel accents and a Reaper-logo white-face gauge package. A custom-made and fitted auxiliary switch panel features flood-light controls with room for any additional accessory power switches down the road or trail.
