This chassis (No. 88-654) was designed for short-track racing and is detailed beautifully, and you’ll find race-prepped suspension and a Ford 9-inch floater rear end. The body is in excellent condition. The AMP Energy, Mountain Dew and National Guard graphics package offers a great appearance to go with the famous No. 88 insignias and the Dale Earnhardt Jr. signature above the door. The engine is a rebuilt NASCAR Cup Series R07, which comes in at 358 CI and cranks out 950 HP. The naturally aspirated beast has a custom-built 4150-based Holley carburetor, a dry-sump oiling system and custom-fabricated headers and exhaust.
Behind the Chevrolet R07 engine is a G-Force 4-speed manual transmission complete with a Tilton bellhousing and clutch system. The car includes a fire suppression system, refueling valve and carbon fiber driver containment seat. This car is not street legal and will be sold on a bill of sale. With the world of NASCAR changing by the minute, this car still incorporates some of the core values of stock car racing.
