The second 2012 Chevrolet Corvette produced, and first Grand Sport model produced for the 2012 model run by the Bowling Green Assembly Plant, home of the Corvette. This Corvette is the first of 528 Grand Sport convertibles produced with the Centennial package in the 2012 model run. This 2012 Corvette Grand Sport convertible includes the Chevrolet Centennial Edition package featuring Carbon Flash Metallic exterior with special 100th Anniversary logos and Ebony custom leather wrapped interior with red stitching and special 100th Anniversary logo embossed on the front seats.

This historical 2012 Chevrolet Centennial Edition Corvette Grand Sport was produced for Chevrolet marketing and used at various events throughout 2011-2012 calendar year, including: the National Corvette Museum Birthday Bash, Corvettes at Carlisle, Super Bowl MVP award presentation. The 2012 Chevrolet Centennial Edition Corvette was created to celebrate the founding of Chevrolet in 1911. One of the co-founders, Louis Chevrolet, was himself a fearless racer and innovator. His track reputation helped establish an automotive brand known for performance, durability and value.
