This 2010 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to a manual transmission, and features a professionally installed Z/TA body kit transforming the car into a modern interpretation of a Trans Am. All body work was completed by Straight Edge Auto Restoration in Saint Anthony, ID, in 2022. The trademark Camaro side “gills” were removed and replaced with new welded sheet metal for a more authentic Trans Am appearance. The hood displays a hand-painted Firebird with pinstriping and lettering designed to replicate a 1978 Trans Am, finished in period-correct GM paint codes. The exterior was professionally resprayed in GM Summit White and the windows were tinted to 15%.
Additional exterior features include a halo reverse-tilt hood, ZL1 side skirts, fog lights and matte gold–painted brake calipers. It rides on custom Boze snowflake wheels finished in matte gold to match the paint scheme, with bird center caps that replicate the Trans Am’s classic styling. Inside, the factory leather seats have been embroidered with a gold Firebird, while custom LED-lit sill plates, door projector lights and 6th-generation Camaro projection lights enhance the cabin’s modern aesthetic. The seller states the "Service Tire Monitor System" light is illuminated on the dash due to no tire pressure monitoring system sensor installed.
