Introduced in 1993 to the public, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin's first six-cylinder model since production of the DB6 Mk. II had finished in 1971. Styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be seen in the design. Arguably one of the nicest looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two-door coupé body and robust six-cylinder engine. Power was supplied by an all-alloy double overhead camshaft supercharged 24 valve inline six-cylinder engine which produced 335 bhp at 5750rpm.

Regarded by many as the purist modern Aston Martin, the DB7 will undoubtedly be a collectable car for years to come and is equally at home in the city or out on the open road. In 1982, Aston Martin was granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment by the Prince of Wales, the company holds the warrant to this day. Originally registered on 11th March 1997 this Aston Martin presents beautifully in Cheviot red complemented by Parchment leather interior. The engine runs extremely well and we are advised it drives with no known faults and the automatic transmission operating as it should. These early DB7’s are extremely stylish and set the standards for others to follow.

Supplied with the original book pack and a very good service history, together with a copy of the build sheets, a V5 and an MoT test certificate valid until 25th June 2023.
