Ferrari Turns Car Parts Into Art

Ferrari has found a new way to bring the Prancing Horse into your living room—and this time, it involves an actual piece of a Ferrari. Called Sketch Body, the new collectible transforms real Ferrari body panels into three-dimensional works of art.

Bonnets and rear sections are mounted as display pieces and decorated with design lines associated with Ferrari Chief Design Officer Flavio Manzoni. The result captures a fascinating moment in the design process: the original sketch lines appear directly on the physical surface they helped bring to life.

The idea was inspired by the one-off Ferrari 812 Competizione Tailor Made, which featured sketch-like graphics across its exterior. Now, similar artwork can be applied to panels from current Ferrari models, turning components normally found in a garage into objects intended for the home.

Sketch Body also becomes part of Ferrari’s broader Collectibles program, which has previously offered Formula 1 parts and race-used components as display pieces.
