  • Transmission: Manual
  • Body Colour: Damson

A UK-supplied, right-hand drive 'CP' model finished in Damson over Tan Ambla, beautifully preserved and once owned by broadcaster Chris Evans.

Introduced in 1968, the TR6 combined the proven chassis and mechanicals of the TR5 with sharper, more modern styling by Karmann and was the final traditional Triumph roadster, now regarded as a sought after classic British sports car. First registered in 1970 and purchased by its previous owner from well known presenter, Chris Evans, the TR6 has had just three long term keepers prior to 2021, all of whom maintained an exceptional level of care. Presented in Damson over Tan Ambla with a black hood and its original steel hardtop, this 150bhp 'CP' specification example retains its factory character and sits on 165x15 Dunlop Sports with original disc wheels.

The 2.5-litre straight-six engine is paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox featuring overdrive, offering strong performance and flexibility with classic TR6 sound and feel. Optioned from new with overdrive, heater, disc wheels and other desirable factory features, the car remains close to original specification with no recorded upgrades or modifications.

Accompanied by a comprehensive history file with over 100 invoices documenting servicing and maintenance over five decades containing Bills of Sale, the original guarantee and handbook, stamped service schedules, multiple V5C logbooks, nearly every MOT Certificate, Tax Discs, trip records, correspondence, a BMI Heritage Certificate and detailed maintenance invoices. A remarkably well preserved, UK-supplied TR6 'CP' with notable provenance and a superb papertrail, representing a rare opportunity to acquire a cherished and unspoilt example of Triumph’s celebrated six-cylinder roadster.
