A charming and original UK-supplied TR3A presented in classic colours with attractive period detailing throughout and very sensibly estimated.

Long famed for their rugged reliability and idiosyncratic good looks, the 'side screen' TRs have attracted a fanatical following over the years. The final evolution of the Triumph TR2/TR3 sportscar line, the TR3A was introduced in September 1957. It was never officially badged as such and was, in fact, a minor revision of the TR3, with updates including a new wide grille, exterior door handles, lockable boot and a full toolkit. Dating from 1961 this is an original UK-supplied, right-hand drive car optioned with overdrive, front disc brakes and wire wheels. Beautifully presented in gleaming black with matching interior trim contrasted nicely by white wet weather equipment.

Fitted with period correct rally-style stopwatches to the glovebox lid, together with club badges and a clock, a lovely finishing touch. 98,197 miles indicated. Just five former registered keepers. Accompanied by its history file, an old steering wheel and a tonneau cover.
