Chassis No.: LD449500

Engine No.: LF045014HE

  • Variant: MKII
  • Transmission: Manual
  • Body Colour: Inca Yellow

A well presented example of Giovanni Michelotti's contribution to the 1970s British sports car scene in a striking colour combination.

Late Mk II example finished in period Inca Yellow with factory black factory hardtop and a good soft top. Very smart interior in Black Ambla with American Walnut veneers, correct and well-kept. Powered by a 2,997cc, 90° V8, single-overhead-cam V8 offering 145bhp and 167ft/lb. We understand that the car retains its original engine mated to a manual gearbox with overdrive. Just three previous keepers, long-term ownership from 1999 prior to joining a private collection three years ago. Well maintained with a good history file and just 79,826 miles at the time of cataloguing. An attractively presented example of the ever-popular Triumph Stag, combining V8 character with usable classic appeal.
