Chassis No.: LD42306A

  • Variant: MK II
  • Transmission: Auto
  • Body Colour: Tahiti Blue

A particularly fine example of the second generation of Triumph's handsome 1970s British sports-tourer in an Italian overcoat. Very well presented in Tahiti Blue with a black Ambla interior and American Walnut veneers. Powered by its original 3.0-litre V8 engine (145bhp and 167ft/lb when new) and Borg-Warner Type 35 3-speed automatic transmission. Treated to some £10,000 worth of restoration works by marque specialist MV Classics in 2008, the quality of which is evident in the car's condition today. Part of our vendor's private collection since 2022, kept in heated storage, used sparingly and looked after by the Collection's own mechanic.

At the time of cataloguing, the odometer was reading 34,355 miles. The accompanying paperwork includes the car’s original Passport to Service. An appealing addition for any enthusiast seeking a well-cared for example. Sensibly estimated, this is a great opportunity to enjoy one of the 1970s most usable classics.
