There are still very few new models, but the 4 CV is one of the first and immediately wins the hearts of the public.
The convertible version, equipped with a waterproof canvas roof that folded back as far as the engine cover, was produced from October 1948 to August 1956. 9,518 examples (Grand Luxe and Luxe, left- and right-hand drive combined) rolled off the production lines. The 4 CV we are presenting was purchased from a private individual on 23 June 1970 and immediately registered in the name of RNUR, the Renault company. It has therefore been part of the Collection for 52 years! It is in exceptional condition, having been completely restored by the Renault Classic workshops for the brand's 100th anniversary. It was also featured in the magazine Rétroviseur in 2017.
Its original colour is the magnificent and rare 'Vert Ondine', paired with a superb beige leatherette interior. This is a highly desirable and charming example, rare in this condition and with impeccable provenance. A 4 CV is easy to maintain and drive, and this convertible version will let you enjoy every ray of sunshine. This 4 CV was bought from a private owner on 23 June 1970 and registered straightaway in Renault's name (RNUR). It has thus been part of the Collection for 52 years! It is in exceptional condition, having been completely restored in the Renault Classic workshops for the company's 100th anniversary.
