Its twin-turbocharged 3.7L flat-6 engine has been optimized with an impressive array of new features, beginning with the first use of new, larger-exhaust turbochargers and piezo injectors, as well as exhaust manifolds adapted from the 911 GT2 RS to provide improved responsiveness and efficiency.
Engine air intake and outflow management has been improved by swapping intercooler and aspirated air intake tracts and adding another air outlet for the intercoolers in the lower rear fascia, enabling more efficient air flow and intake-charge cooling. In concert with a completely redesigned 8-speed PDK automatic transaxle and all-wheel drive, the resulting increase to 572 HP translates into a 0-60 MPH time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 199 MPH. Improved driving dynamics were made possible with the new standard Sport Chrono Package delivering a choice of five driving modes, the Porsche Track Precision App and tire temperature display.
Riding on Pirelli P Zero tires mounted on 20- and 21-inch Turbo S exclusive design wheels, this 911 Turbo also incorporates lowered Sport suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Power Steering Plus, a Sport exhaust system and Porsche’s insanely powerful carbon ceramic disc brakes with automated emergency braking. The 2022 911 retains the classic Porsche shape, in this case cloaked in handsome Jet Black Metallic paint, while delivering even more interior features.
