This 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am has been meticulously finished as an accurate replica of "KITT" the artificially intelligent, self-driving car from the classic 1980s television series Knight Rider. Retaining the Firebird's T-top configuration and aerodynamic silhouette, the car features an interior faithfully modelled on the show's futuristic dashboard, complete with illuminated displays, flashing control panels, and the iconic red scanner light across the front. Presented in black throughout, it captures both the character and technology-driven allure of the original prop vehicles used in production.
Acquired in 2018 in Arizona from a private collector, this example stands as one of the most accurate working replicas of KITT currently available on the market.
