This custom 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury is powered by a high-performance 447/440hp V8 engine paired with a 3-speed 727 automatic transmission and backed by a Gear Vendors overdrive. It has been upgraded with a 5-star front planetary gear, 4-star rear gear, Kevlar HEMI internal bands, Alto racing clutches and a TransGo II shift kit. The engine was bored .040 over to 447ci with forged crank, Six-Pack rods, TRW forged pistons, a hydraulic HEMI cam, HEMI lifters and springs, and aluminum 440 Source heads. Fuel is delivered through a 750cfm Holley carburetor mounted on an Offenhauser intake manifold while the ignition is handled by a magnetic pickup distributor with an MSD 6 ignition unit.

Additional features included ceramic-coated Hedman headers, dual Flowmaster mufflers and an oversized Mopar radiator with a custom two-piece shroud. The chassis is reinforced with subframe connectors and upgraded suspension, including rebuilt front components with new bushings and ball joints, Braking is handled by front disc brakes from Master Power with HydroTech power assist and rear disc brakes with an emergency brake from Stainless Steel Brake Co. The steering system features a rebuilt column, upgraded power steering pump and box by Firm Feel (Stage 2).

Exterior features include a complete nut-and-bolt body restoration with all panels stripped to bare metal, rust repair around the rear wheel arches and replacement of three floor pans. Bumpers were rechromed with powder-coated black brackets, while the grille, trunk edge trim and taillight bezels are finished in black and silver powder-coat. Other brightwork - including door handles and A-pillars - was rechromed. The glass was removed, and the windshield and rear glass were replaced, and it has all-new weatherstripping.

Interior upgrades include a custom Corian dash fitted with AutoMeter gauges, B&M floor shifter, rebuilt heater box and steering column, and a full retrim using non-stock pattern and color upholstery by Legendary Auto Interiors. The interior trim was powder-coated to match. A four-point roll cage with three-point seat belts was added, designed for rear seat access. All wiring was replaced for the dash and engine bay. The build utilized parts and support from Layson's Restorations, Creative Restorations, Mancini Racing, Schumacher Creative, Firm Feel and Legendary Auto Interiors.
