Introduced at the 2015 New York Auto Show, the McLaren 570S ushered in some new philosophies from McLaren that largely dictated usefulness. While the 570S is an absolute supercar in all aspects of performance, the company focused on the ability to drive one daily, should a customer wish to. In that spirit, the company worked out larger luggage capacity, a more accommodating passenger compartment and an enhanced range of luxury options, most notably leather upholstery, which allowed customers to tailor their McLarens to how they wanted it or even needed it for their purposes.
Ingress-egress were also focused on, as was a host of technological advances that allowed passengers a more comfortable experience all around. In keeping with the racing heritage, the 570S was expanded with the 570S GT4 and 570S Sprint, which debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2016, each offering more trackability than the 570S. Building on the enjoyability and customer reach of the 570S, McLaren introduced the 570S Spider at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Interestingly, despite all the company interest in serving the daily driver, the 570S is still a hugely capable and competitive car, with sub-3-second 0-60 MPH times and top speeds of about 200 MPH.
This 570S has only covered 1,385 miles from new and features the Luxury Pack, vehicle lift system, Carbon Fiber Pack 1, Pack 2, front splitter and interior trim. Powered by a 3.8L twin-turbocharged V-8 engine and an automatic transmission, the McLaren is presented in Volcano Orange with matching brake calipers for the carbon ceramic brake system. Inside, passengers will enjoy the black and orange motif in Alcantara and a large infotainment system centered in the dashboard. Rolling on Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and diamond-cut alloy wheels, the 570S comes with a McLaren duffle bag, window sticker and car cover.
