French title Chassis n ° LHABV2AA108186 - Comprehensive restoration - Very nice combination of colors - A legend… Among all-terrain vehicles, the Range Rover is a true legend. Launched in 1970, it was marketed as "a car for all reasons". More comfortable than the Land Rover, it was sold in 3-door form initially, and from 1981, it was also offered as a 5-door vehicle. With a top speed of 160 km/h, it had excellent cross-country ability.

With its four disc brakes and permanent four-wheel drive, its body in light aluminum alloy, it has become a real collectible today, especially when it is in the condition offered here. Delivered new in Italy, Hubert André acquired it at the Padua Motor Show from the Range Rover Classic specialist. It was then fully restored and fitted with its original Italian tile, tracing the successive owners. The car is equipped with air-conditioning, power steering and a four-speed manual gearbox. The beige leather interior is in impressive condition, as is the body.

In 2019, a complete overhaul was carried out at Atelier SARL - Franck Opderbeck - with the rewiring of the electricals, and the addition of a relay. An invoice of € 5,780 comes with the folder. This is a true legend, and a collectible which should satisfy the most discerning backpacker. Photos © Kevin Van Campenhout
