The Discovery comes with full service history documented in its Land Rover Service Record Book, which is supported by detailed invoices accumulated by the present and immediate previous owner. There is also a large presentation folder with comprehensive documentation and photographs, while other accompanying paperwork includes all past MoT certificates (except 2008 and 2012), a host of road tax discs, an IAEA-approved independent consulting engineer's valuation report (November 2019), a BMIHT Certificate and detailed VED history.
Also included are the original launch Press Release and two original launch photographs, a feature article from Land Rover Owner International magazine (December 2015 edition) and Autocar Letter of the Week (17 January 2018) and a Guinness World Record certificate and souvenir items from the World's largest parade of Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles, which was held at Great Billing, Northamptonshire on 30th June 2018. When purchased in 2013, the rear VHS player was found to be missing and irreplaceable from Land Rover or other sources; and one of the 2 viewing screens broken and beyond repair.
These have been replaced by a VEBA DVD player and matching screens which complement the original Harmon Kardon in-car entertainment system. In addition to participating in the World's largest parade of Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles in 2018, the Discovery was also selected for the Institute of Advanced Motorists' VIP line-up at Gaydon in 2016 and Silverstone in 2017.
