The Land Rover Defender was introduced in 1990; it wasn’t until 1993 when Defenders were offered for sale in the United States. It was a popular SUV through the 1990s, and remains a sought-after off-roader today. At the end of the 1997 model year Land Rover chose to cease United States sales of the Defender due to newly imposed regulations. Production of the Defender continued for the rest of the world through the 2016 model year.

This 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 is presented in the rare original Marina Blue, following a fresh repainting. This Land Rover is powered by a 4.0-liter V-8 engine which is paired to the sought-after four-speed automatic transmission. The interior of the car is completed in gray with bucket seats up front and rear jump seats along both sides in the back. In addition to riding on new tires the vehicle has benefited from a recent complete service and tune-up. This Defender is ready to drive and enjoy.
