This is a highly optioned car that is Pearl White with blue leather and white piping. The Gallado Spyder has an athletic body and gives the impression of extreme power potential even when stationary. The appearance of this vehicle is characterized by edges, straight surfaces, and has a dynamic silhouette. The flowing roofline mirrors that of the coupe when the softtop is closed. There are no visible roll-over bars, but the Spyder has a fully retractable glass window and invisible pop-up bars which are activated in case of an emergency. All technical functions are implemented aesthetically. The body has an inverted wing profile, which allows for optimal aerodynamic flow.
This provides the 10 cylinder mid-engine with sufficient air intake and also generates downforce at the rear axle, which is reinforced by the automatic controlled rear spoiler, which activates at 74mph and retracts at 55mph. The softtop is easy and quick to operate, with a switch on the center console. Fully automatic opening/closing takes approximately 20 seconds. The rear window is activated automatically by the electronic control unit when the roof is opened. This acts as a wind deflector, however if one opts to not use it, a switch is available to put the window down.
The Gallardo Spyder is equipped with 19' wheels with 235/35ZR19 Pirelli PZero tires in the front and 295/30ZR19 in the rear. The lifting system of the front axle makes entering obstacles easy by using a switch on the center console. This Gallado Spyder all-wheel drive features a 5.0 Liter, 520hp fuel-injected DOHC 40-valve V10 engine with a 6-speed E-gear transmission. The E-gear is an electronically controlled, sequential gear shift. Using the paddle switches located on the steering column, the gear changes are smooth, even better than the performance of experienced drivers using the manual gearbox.
The are 4 different functional modes of the E-gear: normal, sport, automatic and a program for road conditions with reduced traction. This vehicle sprints from 0 to 62 in 4.3 seconds. This vehicle is also equipped with the Lamborghini Multimedia-System, which contains four speakers, a high level radio, 6-disc CD player and two MP3 inputs. The multifunction display not only provides warning and driving indications, but also info regarding the radio, onboard diagnosis, fuel control, door and hood control and exterior temperature. Options include the E-gear, anti-theft alarm system, heated mirrors, navigation system, on-board computer and rear view camera.
