The original inline 6-cylinder engine has been replaced with a fuel-injected 5.3-liter Vortec V8 motor out of a Chevy Silverado backed by a 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission. The body/tub is in great shape with no rust or damage. The motor was removed from a rear-end collision truck with about 75,000 miles on the odometer. It was checked over for damage/leaking but was in great shape. After that, new axles were installed from a 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon with disc brakes on all four wheels. A Rubicon Express 4.5' long-arm suspension was installed with King coilovers in the front and coil springs, with Bilstein shocks in the rear.

Most of the exterior parts are brand-new with less than 200 miles. It's equipped with a K&N intake, Tru-Kool aluminum radiator, electric fan, 231 transfer case and on-board ARB air compressor. The Jeep has brand-new exterior armor and soft-top. It drives great. All of the work performed on the Jeep was done by professional mechanics at an off-road shop in Colorado.
