Built to compete with European performance sedans like the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Audi RS7, Jaguar’s XF-based XFR-S was described as “Burly, Bad-A**, and Bombastic” by Car and Driver magazine in a late-2013 road test report. Produced in a limited run of 200 examples, the XFR-S featured updated engine calibration and a revised exhaust system, boosting power of the 5.0L Jaguar V-8 engine by 40 HP and 41 lb-ft of torque. True to plan, the XFR-S was capable of launching from zero to 60 MPH in just 3.9 seconds and covering the quarter mile in 12.3 seconds with a trap speed of 117 MPH.
Tuned underpinnings and a revised rear subframe deliver 0.94 G of peak grip on the skid pad, aided by special wheels and Pirelli P Zero tires. Stopping power is a reported 149 feet from 70 MPH to rest. Featuring a rare French Racing Blue exterior finish, this 2014 Jaguar XFR-S is offered with the odometer reading 22,227 miles. In addition to its 5.0L/550 HP supercharged V-8 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, this example is further endowed with a carbon fiber high rear spoiler—a $3,500 option—and a carbon fiber front splitter.
