First registered on 03/08/2005 and specified from new with the Special Equipment option that offered a more luxurious leather interior, premium sound system and climate-control. The S-Type was praised on its release for its interior and ride and in particular, the 2.7 V6 twin-turbodiesel engine was described as 'a paragon of refinement, quietness and fuel economy' by the European automotive press. This 2005 facelift model, resplendent in Pacific Blue coachwork, doe-skin leather and pale wood veneers, benefits from the aforementioned 2.7 diesel mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Used for errands and motorway cruising by our vendor when over from his native Australia, the car was MOT'd at 53,913 miles in May this year.
