Roush raised the performance bar in the Ford Mustang once again with the 2008 427R. Distinguished by its Roush Aerobody kit, custom graphics and chromed Roush wheels, the 427R features a ROUSHcharger-equipped 4.6 L/435 HP V-8, a 5-speed manual with Roush short throw shifter and 4-wheel disc brakes. Carbon fiber dash accents trim the leather interior, which also offers power windows and locks, air conditioning and a Shaker 500 sound system. Both factory window stickers remain on the car as originally delivered.
