This 1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R is No. 193 of 250 special edition "R" models produced for the model year, all of which were finished in Crystal White clearcoat and powered by a 5.8-liter V8 engine, factory-rated at 300hp and 365 ft/lbs of torque, paired with a Tremec 3550 5-speed manual transmission and a 3.27 Traction-Lok limited-slip differential. The SVT-tuned suspension consists of adjustable Koni dampers, progressive-rate springs, a front strut-tower brace and strengthened stabilizer bars. It is also equipped with an aluminum radiator, oil cooler and a Fuel Safe fuel cell with a high-capacity fuel pump.
The Mustang features a rear spoiler, revised front valance and a raised hood cowl, and rolls on 17-inch wheels. The Saddle upholstered interior features a power adjustable driver's seat and power-adjustable side mirrors. A driver's car, this Cobra R was not equipped with rear seats, and additional weight-saving measures included the omission of air conditioning, audio system and sound insulation. The sale includes a Ford-SVT Certificate of Authenticity that lists an assembly date of March 1, 1995, and identifies this car as No. 193 of the 250 Cobra R examples. 1,973 miles (not indicated on title).
