Chassis No. WF0CXXGAKCEY99900 An authentic factory WRC car with a prestigious track record, also driven by the legendary Valentino Rossi, and ready to race… and win! An authentic works WRC, with a prestigious track record, also driven by legend Valentino Rossi, and ready to race… and win! The year 2010 marked the end of the Ford Focus after more than 10 years of competition, highlighted by two manufacturers’ titles (2006–2007). But the Focus will not have the ending hoped for; despite a fine victory by Mikko Hirvonen at the Rally of Sweden, the team will once again be unable to counter the Citroëns of Sébastien Loeb and the young and promising Sébastien Ogier.

Ford nevertheless secured an honourable second place in the world championship (their third in a row) and two victories for Jari-Matti Latvala at the Rally New Zealand and the Rally Finland.Like Citroën with its DS3 WRC, Ford is introducing a new car for the 2011 season: the Fiesta RS. It has been developed for the Ford World Rally Team by Ford Europe and M-Sport for use in the World Rally Championship, and will be entered from 2011 to 2016. Built on the basis of a road-going Ford Fiesta, it complies with the new World Rally Car regulations for 2011, based on the existing Super 2000 regulations.

It is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged Ford four-cylinder engine (rather than the naturally aspirated 2.0-litre engine found in Super 2000 cars).First outing, first victory: the Fiesta RS WRC claimed its maiden rally win in Sweden in 2011 thanks to Mikko Hirvonen, whilst Jari-Matti Latvala rounded off this debut season with a fine victory in Great Britain.

The end of the season was also marked by Hirvonen’s move to the Citroën team, before he returned for the 2014 season, supported by Elfyn Evans, the 2012 Junior WRC World Champion, and Robert Kubica in a semi-official team. The car featured on these pages, M-Sports chassis number #43, is the one used by Hirvonen for the second half of the 2014 season, before becoming Evans’s car for the first part of the 2015 season… Out of 10 official entries at the pinnacle of world rallying, #43 finished in the Top 5 on eight occasions and secured three podium finishes for the factory team. In 2014, Hirvonen finished fourth in the World Championship; in 2015, Evans finished seventh.

During its time with the factory team, the car was also entrusted to MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi for the 2014 Monster Energy Rally Show at Monza. Just as at home on two wheels as he is on four, he finished second in the event… It was, in fact, to him that M-Sports sold #43 after its official stint.

We will therefore see our Fiesta RS WRC, now entered by the VR 46 Monster Rally Team, at the 2016 Monster Energy Rally Show, an event won that year by The Doctor at the wheel of #43.Whilst this highly desirable and efficient Fiesta RS WRC currently sports its Valentino Rossi livery, it is worth noting that it changed hands again in 2017 and continued to compete at national level, first in Italy and then in France, driven by privateers and occasionally hired out.

Although the car has not raced since 2019, it has nevertheless undergone a full refurbishment, including an engine rebuilt to new condition by Pipo, the company that originally developed this engine for M-Sport… A works car, driven by two of the best drivers of their generation, then owned by the legendary Valentino Rossi, this incredible WRC is ready to race – and win again! – and is sold with a substantial collection of on-board equipment. The year 2010 would mark the end of the Ford Focus after more than 10 years of competition, marked by two manufacturers’ titles (2006–2007).

But the Focus would not have the expected ending; despite a fine victory by Mikko Hirvonen at the Rally of Sweden, the team would once again be unable to counter the Citroëns of Sébastien Loeb and the young and promising Sébastien Ogier. It was developed for the Ford World Rally Team by Ford Europe and M-Sport for use in the World Rally Championship, and was entered from 2011 to 2016.

Built from a "civilian" Ford Fiesta, it complies with the new World Rally Car regulations for 2011, based on existing Super 2000 regulations. It is powered by the Ford 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine (and not by the naturally aspirated 2.0-litre engine of Super 2000 cars).First outing, first victory: the Fiesta RS WRC won its maiden rally in Sweden in 2011 thanks to Mikko Hirvonen, whilst Jari-Matti Latvala rounded off this debut season with a fine victory in Great Britain.

Although the car has not raced since 2019, it has nevertheless undergone a complete overhaul, including a fully rebuilt engine at Pipo, the company that originally developed this engine for M-Sport...

A factory car, driven by two of the finest drivers of their generation, and subsequently owned by the legendary Valentino Rossi, this incredible WRC is ready to race – and win again! – and is sold with a substantial spares package. Est. €350,000 – €450,000 excl. VAT
