First registered in November 1987 and finished in Radiant Red with a black and grey check interior, riding on period-correct alloy wheels and presenting as a tidy example of Ford’s sporting convertible. Powered by the 1.6-litre fuel-injected CVH engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, delivering the lively performance expected of the XR3i model. Benefited from refurbishment to the suspension and braking systems and further mechanical attention during its life, with the car reported to run and drive well. Replacement hood fitted a few years ago and remaining in good condition; tyres appear to have seen little recent use and present well.
