This custom 1979 Ford Bronco XLT Ranger just underwent a no-expense-spared professional nut-and-bolt restoration. It is powered by a rebuilt 400ci V8 engine mated to a 3-speed C6 automatic transmission and an NP205 transfer case. It is also equipped with Ford Racing valve covers, Hooker headers, custom Flowmaster exhaust system, power steering, stainless brake lines and Warn locking hubs. The suspension features a 4-inch suspension lift with Bilstein shocks and power front disc brakes. It rides on U.S. Mags aluminum wheels with BFGoodrich KM3 Mud-Terrain tires. The laser-straight body is finished in Sikkens black and white paint, while the frame was sanded and then painted black.
All the factory racetrack trim was polished to a show-quality finish. The exterior features all-new bumpers, emblems, glass and seals, and also has a factory spare tire carrier out back with matching spare wheel and tire. The factory-looking interior is upholstered in leather, including seats, front and rear panels, sun visors and center console. It is equipped with a RetroSound stereo system and air conditioning. This fresh build was completed in December 2024.
