This 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT Trailer Special spent its entire life in Arizona. It was originally delivered to Don Sanderson Ford in Glendale, AZ. It was found by the Desert Valley Auto team in Casa Grande, AZ, having been parked in a carport since 1990. This authentic Bronco even has its original spare tire. It was acquired by the seller in 2021, and a meticulous refurbishment unfolded in 2022 and 2023, including a frame-off mechanical and chassis restoration. Under the hood lies the rebuilt original 400ci V8 engine, now enhanced with a Holly Sniper fuel-injection system and electric cooling system. It is mated with the original rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission.

With less than 500 miles since completion, it just received its break-in oil change before making its way to Barrett-Jackson. It is finished in its original deluxe two-tone Bahama Blue and Wimbledon White paint. The interior has authentic blue cloth and vinyl Ranger XLT bucket seats, complemented by a removable white fiberglass hardtop. Equipped with a range of features, this second-generation Bronco strikes the perfect balance between modern reliability and vintage allure.

Original equipment includes skid plates, power steering, GT bar (roll bar), heavy-duty towing package (Trailer Special), air conditioning, rear seat, privacy glass, super-cooling radiator (upgraded to aluminum), increased-capacity fuel tank and the Ranger XLT Package. It comes with a Deluxe Marti Report and mechanical rebuild receipts.
