Upon its debut, the 812 GTS was more than just an open-topped variant of the already compelling 812 Superfast: It was also the first front-engined series-production V-12-powered convertible offered by Ferrari since the discontinuation of the 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider. It borrowed many of the 812 Superfast’s best features, including the potent V-12 with its 789 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque, while adopting new touches such as a transmission with shorter gear ratios that ensured acceleration remained equal to the coupe.
Styling was massaged throughout to ensure maximum aerodynamic efficiency even without a roof which, when lowered, folds and disappears under a tonneau within the rear deck. Acceleration from zero to 60 mph takes an estimated 2.8 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 211 mph.

Bianco Cavallino logos embroidered on each headrest, along with a white rev counter, further enhance the cabin. Carbon fiber kick plates on the door sills feature the Tailor Made logo and the Italian tricolor stripe. A spectacularly luxurious element, the leather treatments found throughout the cabin are composed of hides sourced through the high-end Italian furniture manufacturer Poltrona Frau.
Other notable equipment includes front and rear cameras, passenger display, and titanium exhaust pipes. As indicated by an invoice on file, Ferrari Beverly Hills performed a second annual service which included a filter change, brake flush, and systems check in August 2024.
