$55,000 USD | Sold
This car is in showroom condition with 958 original miles (the title reads mileage exempt). This is one of the best first-generation Dodge Vipers known to exist. It's one of only 3,083 built in 1994. It has great ownership history, being a one-owner vehicle until 2016. It was stored and maintained properly since day one, which is evident in its condition. This car was ordered and sold new by Tamaroff Dodge in Southfield, MI. It was ordered with a Viper Red exterior and a black and Quartz leather interior. It was also ordered with air conditioning. It was retailed on May 9, 1994, to a gentleman who lived in Southfield, MI. He purchased it as an investment and treated it with the best of care.
He kept the car for almost 22 years before selling it on April 6, 2016, to a gentleman who lives in Marinette, WI. This gentleman is the second registered owner, making this a two-owner car. This information is documented on the clean CARFAX report, which is included. The exterior of this car is in showroom condition and is virtually flawless. The body and paint is absolutely beautiful. The folding top, side curtains and tonneau cover have never been used. They're still in the original carrying cases. The car sits on 17-inch wheels that are also virtually flawless. The wheels are wrapped with the original Michelin XGTZ tires (275/40/17 on the front and 335/35/17 on the rear).
The interior of this car is also in showroom condition and virtually flawless. It's in beautiful condition throughout and even smells new. The trunk compartment is also in beautiful condition throughout. The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout. Unlike most first-generation Dodge Vipers, this engine compartment shows no signs of oxidation or deterioration. The car is powered by an 8.0-liter aluminum 10-cylinder engine that produces 400hp. The engine is barely broken in and runs excellent. Everything in the engine compartment is original, with exception of the filters and battery. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual overdrive transmission.
The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout. Unlike most first-generation Dodge Vipers, this undercarriage shows no signs of oxidation or deterioration. This undercarriage is nice enough to present with mirrors at a museum or car show.
