This 1961 Chrysler 300G convertible was one of only 337 produced for the model year and is the recipient of a comprehensive restoration. It is powered by a 413ci Cross-Ram V8 engine with Chrysler's dual 4-barrel carburetor "long ram" induction system, mated to a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. This is designed to allow for sonic intake tuning and features red runners and gold air cleaners. By 1961, the new unibody chassis design allowed for Torsion Aire front end.

This car features a black exterior highlighted by a large front bumper, angular headlamps astride the special grille, rear-quarter side spear with large 300 medallion and the chrome-edged lamp inserts within each rear fin. "Chrysler" is spelled out on the grille and decklid, along with the "C3" emblem centered on the trunk lid, which holds a spare and jack. This car rides on steel wheels with full-size 300-emblem wheel covers and wide whitewall tires. A tan convertible top matches the tan interior with swivel front seats, rear bucket seats and a full-length console.

In addition to factory air conditioning and factory power windows, this 300G features a chrome-laden dash that includes a push-button shifter for the transmission, a self-seeking radio equipped with a power rear antenna, an electric clock and a console-mount tachometer.
