The 300G is considered significant as it was the last letter car designed by Virgil Exner and the last to be powered by the 413ci V8 with long tube Ram Air induction. This stunning example received an 18-month restoration that was finished in 2016. Color changed from its original Alaskan White to Mardi Gras Red. It is powered by its original 413ci V8 engine with Ram Air induction, dual Carter 4-barrel carburetors, 3:23 Sure-Grip rear axle and 3-speed TorqueFlite push-button automatic transmission, power steering, brakes and windows are standard equipment. Air conditioning, radio, power seat and Sure-Grip were optional equipment.

Since the high-dollar cosmetic, mechanical and electrical restoration, less than 200 miles have been put on the vehicle. It has a new correct wiring harness, new electroluminescent dash, and includes receipts showing an investment of $113,000.

Also included with the vehicle is a letter of authenticity from Chrysler FCA Historical Services, a copy of the factory Build Record Certificate, a copy of Hemming’s Classic Car Magazine featuring the 1961 Chrysler 300G Sport Coupe, an advertisement from 1961 on the 300G showing the 300G 'flying' along the beach in Daytona, FL, where it set the Flying Mile record in the fall of 1960, a calendar featuring this car, advertisements from 1961/1962 featuring a Mardi Gras Red Chrysler 300G, and a black-and-white Polaroid photograph of the first owner of this incredible car with her daughter driving.
