This custom 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS Resto-Mod Pro-Touring coupe has a Powerhouse twin-turbo 373.67ci LS engine that is bored over 3.905 inches and stroked 3.900 inches, with all forged internals and an eagle crankshaft with ARP stud kit. The custom JE forged pistons compression ratio of 8.5:1 and the Isky custom ground crankshaft has been specced out by redline performance at a 0.600 lift with 112-lobe center ISKY lifters and a 650-valve lift. The engine is mated to a GM performance 4L85E Supermatic transmission with a 2,400-stall premium torque converter and Currie 9-inch rear end powder-coated gloss black.

It features intake Manley H-beam rods with ARP rod bolts and machine work performed by Benson's Machine Shop, with the Speartech fuel-injection system engine harnessing 75 pounds per hour, along with high-impedance Siemens fuel injectors, aeromotive fuel rails and a fuel-pressure regulator. It has a Rick's custom stainless-steel fuel tank with dual Walbro 400-liter-per-hour fuel pumps tuning by Powertrain Dynamics at 9 psi of boost. This car is also equipped with a Huntington Beach LS6 GM performance intake manifold with XS Power 70, a Melling high-volume oil pump, Manley Inconel 1.575-inch valves and a 2.020-inch exhaust.

It also features Currie 35-splined axles, a 3.25 gear Detroit Truetrac locker custom driveshaft with Spicer 1350 U-joints, Currie alloy pin and billet support assembly, anodized red half-inch lug stud suspension with a 1,350-yoke, powder-coated upper and lower A-arms, CPP performance bushings, CPP 2-inch drop spindles, CPP lowering springs in the front and rear, Hotchkis rear 4-link suspension, an upper to lower rear tiebar, large front and rear sway bars, brakes and an E-Stopp electric park brake assembly.

It also has Wilwood front hubs with half-inch lug studs, a HydraStop brake booster with a Wilwood tandem master cylinder, Wilwood Dynalite 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers powder-coated in red, and Wilwood vented and drilled front and rear rotors. It is equipped with dual valve springs, 125 at 1.80 seat pressure, with a GM Performance timing chain. This high-end, 4-year build is painted in House of Kolor Blue Blood Red Sg-105 painted by West Coast Collision in La Habra, CA. The body is fully sealed and primed in Dupont K200 primer, and the body was stripped to bare metal with all-original sheet metal and no aftermarket panels.

It features a shaved wiper cowl and firewall with all-new glass. This original California car has a full custom leather interior, with Glide Engineering low-back seats with Dynamat bolsters throughout the floors, doors and trunk, along with a Porsche carpet and suede headliner. It has a Covan classic gauge cluster with AutoMeter gauges and a hidden stereo in the glove box. The custom center console is wrapped in leather with a Street Bandit B&M shifter and Q-Forms speaker panels wrapped in leather. This car rides on patina-exposed 5-spoke billet wheels that measure 18 inches up front and 20 inches in the rear with Nitto NT05 tires.
